“A man filled with the love of God, is not content with blessing his family alone, but ranges through the whole world, anxious to bless the whole human race” (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, 4:227).
Joseph Smith was a man who loved God and who was filled with the love of God. One of the fruits of the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is that those who understand the doctrine of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (often misnamed the “Mormon Church”) will radiate the love of God for the people around them.
One of the basic principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ is service. When we are filled with charity, we want to bless others’ lives. The most significant way we can bless others’ lives is by bringing them to the knowledge of the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
When you have faith in the doctrine of Jesus Christ and are filled with the spirit of love, you will not care what critics say. Instead, you will have the desire to bless those around you by your example and faith.
